About the Artist
Born in 1954 in Dolnja Briga, Slovenia, Jože Marinč graduated from the School of Design in Ljubljana and continued his education at the Academy of Visual Arts. His artistic practice encompasses abstract painting, objects, and spatial installations, with a strong emphasis on color, texture, gesture, and the relationship between artwork and space.
